We were running quite late for our check-in time at 2 PM because my friend’s flight got delayed for more than two hours earlier that morning from Manila. It was just surprising that the staff at the bai Hotel was very considerate with our running riot at the lobby as someone very smiley and all graceful lady staff greeted us and told us that we will be checking in via the Executive Club Lounge. Yes, we were assigned to a room that includes an exclusive Executive Club Lounge perks.
Executive Club Lounge
It is a small yet elegantly dwelling place for guests with rooms at the Executive Club floors of bai Hotel. The Executive Club Lounge is somehow an nth time upscaled business room turned into a reception area for exclusive clients and guests.
For our convenience, we were offered coffee as we lack sleep from the long hours waiting at the airport to return home and woke up late to check-in at the hotel.
The cafe latte served got a little special with a great view of the harbor and the city. It is a perfect sight as the Executive Club Lounge is right on the 22nd floor of the hotel building. The view was breathtaking.
Guests Rooms
After a short rest and a sip of hot coffee at the lounge, we were then assisted to our guest room. We expected nothing as it was our first time at the bai Hotel Cebu. But, to our surprise, we entered into a room with an amazing interior and with the right amenities we needed for our overnight stay. As a plus, a big room window gave us a view of yet again another angle of how Cebu looks like in the afternoon and at night.
The guests rooms at bai Hotel Cebu are strategically located on floors that all provide a majestic highlight of either the harbor view or the city view. The room we have stayed for a night has an upgraded living space feel furnished with bath amenities like the complete toiletry set, face towels, and bathrobes. Offering five-star quality service, it is the perfect escape for guests to relax and yet gives an attachment of the busy Cebu through the big room window.
The room certainly gave us a delightful stay with a very reliable and fast Internet connection, cable TV, cool and well-ventilated airconditioning, comfortable chairs to talk and unwind right next to the window while having some complimentary drinks. Of course, let us not forget the very fluffy and all-tempting bed.

Located at the Ground Floor at bai Hotel Cebu, Ume Japanese Cuisine opens from 12 NN – 2 PM and 6 PM – 10 PM (Mondays to Sundays).
After-Dinner Chill at Twilight Roofdeck Lounge + Bar
Right after dinner, head on to the 23rd floor of bai Hotel Cebu and have a 360-view of the skyline of Mandaue City, Cebu City, and Lapu-Lapu City. The Twilight Roofdeck Lounge + Bar is bai Hotel Cebu’s take of a modern outdoor terrace right at the topmost part of the hotel building.
As the sun begins to set, guests can lounge and take refuge in bar favorites and signature cocktails. It operates at 6 PM – 2 AM from Tuesdays to Sundays.
Buffet Breakfast at Cafe Bai
Undeniably one of the largest venues with a great choice of food there is for all-day buffet, Cafe Bai is a restaurant with live cooking stations featuring the best of Asian to Western cuisines.
They are serving breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet; surely a fun place to satisfy your appetite from morning until evening. They are open at these hours: 6 AM – 10 AM (Breakfast); 12 NN – 2:30 PM (Lunch); and 6 PM – 10 PM (Dinner) from Mondays to Sundays.
Lunch at Marble + Grain Steakhouse
A very stylish steakhouse serving prime beef and other meats amazingly paired alongside an excellent great wine selection. The Marble + Grain Steakhouse located at the Ground Floor of bai Hotel Cebu presents a menu that also includes seafood, lamb, pork, and poultry dishes.
The Marble + Grain Steakhouse is open from 12 NN to 2:00 PM, and from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM, every day except Mondays.
