With the recent openings of new branches in the Visayas and Mindanao, the bank aims to bring “Easy Banking for You” closer to home. This regional focus emphasizes CBS’s dedication to supporting local growth and ensuring financial accessibility for all.
CBS China Bank Savings Opens New Branches to Serve Growing Communities
As part of its ambitious expansion strategy, CBS China Bank Savings is establishing new branches in key locations. The first new branch is in Panabo City, Davao del Norte, followed by a branch at the South Coast Center in Talisay City, Cebu.
Additionally, the CBS Davao-Toril branch will move to a more central and accessible spot at the G Mall of Toril. These branches are set to open throughout November, with the Davao branches welcoming customers on November 7 and 8, and the Talisay branch in Cebu opening on November 18.
A Total of 73 Branches in VisMin
This expansion will bring CBS’s total presence to 73 locations in the Visayas and Mindanao regions. The growing network includes full branches, APDs (Alternative Processing Desks), and branch-lites, all aimed at making banking more convenient.
CBS China Bank Savings President James Christian T. Dee highlighted the importance of these new branches, noting, ““We continue to celebrate CBS’ growth in the VisMin region as we unveil these new, more optimized spaces designed to better serve our clients and partners.”
“The VisMin region has a lot to offer the Filipino community—with its wide range of agricultural products, rich cultural heritage, and famous tourist destinations, it is a vital part of the business industry,” he added.
Commitment to the VisMin Community
CBS has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to VisMin’s development through various initiatives. The bank recently sponsored the 33rd Mindanao Business Conference, where they engaged with business leaders to discuss innovative financing solutions for SMEs.

“We are committed to enhancing your banking experience and to providing you with financial solutions that deliver the brand promise of Easy Banking for You,” according to President Dee.
Support for Education and Community Engagement
In addition to business initiatives, CBS has taken steps to support local education. Their APD Lending Group actively participated in the 2024 Brigada Eskwela program, contributing donations to schools across the region. This involvement aligns with the bank’s mission to uplift communities and improve lives through accessible financial services.
