As part of its continuous efforts in promoting a safer riding experience through cashless payment, MyBus is offering free MyBus Card for a minimum reload transaction of ₱200 from December 15, 2020, until February 14, 2021, at MyBus stations in SM City Cebu (North Wing Open Parking 2), SM Seaside City (Mountain Wing Entrance), and Talisay City (MyBus Depot).

Have a safer holiday joyride with MyBus Card

MyBus Card makes riding MyBus easier (simply tap to pay), safer (minimize hand contact), and faster (skip counting loose change), as compared to paying for bus fare in cash.

Aside from paying for MyBus fare, MyBus Card can be used to pay cashless at The SM Store, SM Supermarket, and Brownies Unlimited in SM City Cebu, SM Hypermarket in Mandaue City, and in select SM Savemore Market branches. Apart from MyBus stations, MyBus Card can be reloaded at Mall Information Booth (SM Bills Pay), Customer Service (inside The SM Store), and Bills Payment (inside SM Supermarket) in SM City Cebu and SM Seaside City.

In compliance with the minimum safety protocol on public transportation, MyBus riders are strongly advised to always wear a face mask and face shield whenever riding MyBus.

About MyBus

MyBus is the new public bus transportation in Cebu, operated by Metro Rapid Transit Services, Inc. (MRTSI), a consortium of Jam Liner, Inc. and Premier Southern Corporation, a subsidiary of SM Prime Holdings, Inc. It operates several units of 12-meter long buses which are mainly manufactured by Volvo, Mercedez Benz, and Daewoo with Euro-5 engines, the first of its kind in the Philippines.

MyBus route passes through Talisay City, Cebu City, Mandaue City up to Mactan Cebu International Airport, which is the same as the route proposed in the Cebu Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project for 2016 by the Department of Transportation and Communication. MyBus stations can be found in SM Seaside Mall, SM City Cebu, Il Corso, City di Mare, Malacañang sa Sugbo, and Compania Maritima. Each MyBus vehicle can accommodate 42 to 90 passengers, including standing passengers.
