Pepsi Philippines’ #SundinAngPuso campaign aims to empower today’s Filipino youth to be unafraid to follow their heart in doing the things they love. With this in mind, the brand staged a Pepsi Taste Challenge, one of its most popular global campaigns previously held in different countries around the world.
The Pepsi Taste Challenge arrives in Cebu, featuring local Cebuano artists and P-Pop boy group SB19
The Pepsi Taste Challenge celebrates Filipinos’ love for cola and dares them to challenge their preconceptions through a taste test in different cities around the country to find out whether people prefer the refreshing bold taste of Pepsi versus another cola brand.
“Filipinos have enjoyed Pepsi cola for years now, and the global success that we’ve had in various countries, as well as the overwhelming success we’ve had in Manila, makes us confident that Pepsi will be the choice of majority of the participants of the Pepsi Taste Challenge,” said Gutzee Segura, Marketing Manager of Pepsi Philippines.
It was initially launched in Manila earlier this month and has been recently rolled out in Cebu, with Davao as the next destination city. At the Cebu event held at the Mountain Wing Atrium, SM Seaside City Cebu last February 22, 2020, influencers such as Pamela Swing and Ricci Rivero participated in various fun and interactive activities such as Pepsi-oke where participants have to pick and perform a random song number, a live vlogging challenge, and an exciting game of Wheel of Passions where they spin a digital roulette that corresponds to one’s chosen passion point whether it’s singing, dancing, styling, or acting.
Extraordinary performances from inspiring local artists including Karencitta, Mandaue Nights, and SB19 entertained the audience.
