With the help of non-governmental organizations like Ako ang Saklay, Ako Bakwit, Caritas Philippines, and Tanging Yaman Foundation, BDO Foundation’s volunteers distributed gift packs across 90 parishes and dioceses.
Mario Deriquito, president of BDO Foundation, explained, “Our goal with the Handog Sa ‘Yo program is to support families in various communities celebrate a brighter Christmas through our simple and humble contribution.”
These noche buena packs included holiday food items to make Christmas gatherings more festive for recipients. The initiative mobilized over 500 BDO employee volunteers from branches and head offices nationwide. Their efforts highlighted how bayanihan fosters goodwill, creating memories that resonate long after the holiday season ends.
