Cebu Literary Festival 2017 x Komiket
Calling out everyone who wants to showcase their amazing books, and komiks collection, artist-made goodies, magazines, arts and crafts, stickers, posters, and other interesting stuff you want to present to a huge audience, then this is the right event for you.
Take a peak of other people’s literary minds and works, grab a notepad and jot down books or komiks that tickles your interest. This event is going to be your ticket to another literary adventure with books you didn’t even know before.
More than just a book event
Literary festivals are just about books, aren’t they? There is so much more to this event than just books, komiks and other literary pieces. It is also about showing your creativity through a pen and paper. Artworks are part of this event. Letting your paint, color pencils, pastels, and markers glide through a paper or canvas and flaunt your work to your audience.
Apart from all the artworks, special guests are present as well to join the fun. Toto Madayag is one of them. People will surely line up and see why he is known as the Master of Pen and Ink. Famous for his works such as P*cha, E ‘Di Komiks, Bawal Mamatay May Tumawid na Rito, and more, Toto is actually bringing comics back with his eccentric, bold and funny way of combining drawing and writing into one.
There will also be book launches and even performances.
