Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony Illuminates Crown Regency Hotel & Towers

All eyes turn to the fully-adorned 25-foot Christmas tree which sparkled to life at Crown Regency Hotels & Towers last November 21.

The lighting of the 25-foot Christmas tree was led by Cebu City Mayor, Hon. Tomas Osmeña together with the hotel’s distinguished guests, Department of Labor and Employment-Regional Director, Mr. Exequiel Sarcauga, Assistant Regional Director, Mr. Joel Gonzales and Government official, Ms. Marites Tanquiamco. They were accompanied by Crown Regency Hotels & Resorts Group General Manager, Mr. Hitesh Sampat, Crown Regency Suites and Residences-Mactan General Manager, Mr. Renato Calellero, Crown Regency Residences-Guadalupe OIC, Mr. Danny Cabugwas, HR Director Mr. Dennis Aytona, Marketing Manager, Ms. Richelle King and Liason Officer, Mr. Guido Tabaña.

Prior to the lighting, the celebration was highlighted with musical performances by Mr. Roy Racaza, Ms. Marie Mae Cañares, followed by the toasting of wine and a special appearance of Santa Claus.

As the fully-adorned 25-foot Christmas tree was lit, the tree and the lights surrounding the hotel’s grand staircase sparkled to life with a holly jolly music we all know and love, “Joy to the World”, followed by faux snow falling, making guests squeal with delight.

The lighting of the Christmas tree at the Towers has become a wonderful tradition that was started a few years ago. This tradition has marked the beginning of the Yuletide Season at Crown Regency Hotel & Towers; a simple yet meaningful gesture to show appreciation to valued guests and partners who has made the year 2016 a truly blessed and bountiful one.
