SEA Games Trivia
This is the fourth time the Philippines has hosted the games. The country had previously hosted in 1981, 1991, and 2005. This year’s SEA Games is the first in history to include Esports, which features 3 main categories: PC, console, and mobile.
To be included in the Esports competitions are Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Arena of Valor, Dota 2, Starcraft II, Tekken 7, and Heartstone. The games are accredited by the Asian Electronic Sports Federation.
The Philippines garnered 291 medals last 2005 – its best-ever medal count in international competitions
