Marble + Grain Steakhouse’s filet mignon comes from the small end of the tenderloin area of locally grown, grass-fed cows from Ivantan, Batanes. This area is non-weight bearing and not toughened by exercise, resulting in extremely tender melt-in-your-mouth meat. The name is French for “cute filet” with “filet” meaning a thick, boneless slice, and “mignon” meaning “dainty” but in Marble + Grain Steakhouse, they offer a hearty slice enough to satisfy your cravings without overwhelming you with its meaty umami flavor.
