Cebu City will remain under General Community Quarantine until August 31. The Local Government Unit of Cebu City continued its call to care and vigilance in spite of the noted decrease of COVID-19 cases and increase on recoveries in the city. Cebu City Mayor Edgar Labella issued the Executive Order No. 088 (EO 088) as a reminder of the standards under GCQ status.

“Dako kaayo ug natampo ang atong padayon nga kooperasyon ug pagtinabangay sa atong kalampusan,” stated on the active Facebook Page of Cebu City Mayor Edgar Labella. “Mapasalamaton ako nga bisan GCQ na, kadaghanan sa atua misunod gihapon sa mandatory stay-at-home order ug mga lagda sa kaluwasan.”
“Our continued cooperation and cooperation in our success have contributed enormously. I am thankful that even with GCQ, most of those still follow mandatory stay-at-home orders and safety rules.”
Executive Order No. 088 (EO 088)
Item S “QUARANTINE PASS (QPASS) GUIDELINES” of the Executive Order No. 088, stated the new scheduling scheme of allowed days to use the Quarantine Pass (QPass) duly issued by the City Government. Please take note that the QPass shall only be allowed from 5:00 AM until 10:00 PM, and QPass holders shall adhere to the new schedule below:
QPasses with codes that end with ODD numbers (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) | – Mondays – Wednesdays – Fridays – Sundays (from 5:01 AM to 1:00 PM only) |
QPasses with codes that end with EVEN numbers and ZERO (2, 4, 6, 8, and 0) | – Tuesdays – Thursdays – Saturdays – Sundays (from 1:01 PM to 9:00 PM only) |
This section was amended with the issuance of Executive Order No. 088, which will be effective immediately upon signing of the order and shall remain effective until revoked.
Executive Order No. 088 was duly signed by Cebu City Mayor Edgardo Labella on August 15, 2020.
