Funatix: The One Concentrix Cebu’s largest family day event in 2019

Not even the harsh weather can stop over 20,000 Concentrix Cebu’s employees and their family to enjoy the one-day family day extravaganza at three (3) different venues. This year, Concentrix Cebu had their largest event simultaneously done at Anjo World Theme Park, SM Seaside City Cebu, and the North Reclamation Area Vacant Lot (formerly St. James Amusement Park) last July 28, 2019.

Tagged as “The New One Concentrix Cebu” Family Day 2019, the program was filled with family-centric activities and staff oriented competition bundled into one big day of celebration and gathering. The event was named “Funatix” loosely derived from the first Culture Statements of Concentrix — “We are Fanatical about our Clients and Staff”. The name was also from a condensation of the phrase “Fun at Concentrix”.

The Sunday festivities were divided into two (2) parts: the Family Getaway, where Concentrix Cebu’s employees from nine different sites and their families enjoyed amusement park rides, mini-workshops for the kids, cosplay competition, photo booths, and food. These were the “World Of Adventure” at Anjo World Theme Park, “Funtastica” at the Mountain Wing of SM Seaside City Cebu, and the “Merryland” at the St. James Amusement Park Lot.

These festivities started at 8 AM until 3 PM.

The second and last part of the Funatix Concentrix Cebu Family Day 2019 event was the Funatix Concert collectively held at the St. James Amusement Park Lot. Guest artists were invited to perform and be part of of this program as well. World-renowned EDM artists like DJ Ace Ramos, DJ Tom Taus, MC Paolo Avila, and DJ Knoxville provided music for the night.

Performances from Cebu’s local artists Jackie Chang, Wonggoys, and Missing Filemon also graced the last night. The Funatix Concert ended with amazing live band performances from Rocksteddy and Sponge Cola.

The Funatix Concentrix Cebu Family Day 2019 ended past midnight. It was indeed a jampacked event for One Concentrix Cebu.
