INFOplus is the new public service feature of TVplus that lets users easily access information like weather bulletins with just a push of the red button on the TVplus remote.

According to ABS-CBN head of access Charles Lim, INFOplus is proof that more Filipinos benefit when the private sector and government agencies work together towards a common goal.

“For the past 65 years, ABS-CBN has always been guided by its mission to be in the service of the Filipino. INFOplus proves that together with you, we can help more Filipinos,” Lim said, addressing the heads of PAGASA and other government agency partners of TVplus.

Lim also added that information that ABS-CBN TVplus will broadcast via INFOplus will reach more Filipinos as there are eight million TVplus boxes present in households and vehicles.

Besides PAGASA (Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration, ABS-CBN TVplus also joined forces with MMDA (Metro Manila Development Authority) for traffic updates and NDRRMC (National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council) for essential advisories on earthquakes and other disasters.

Updates such as ‘Walang Pasok’ announcements and price of commodities, meanwhile, will be provided by ABS-CBN News, while job alerts will be delivered by TrabaHanap.
