Cebu Pacific Air rolled out newsletters and disseminated information drive on social media on March 12, 2020. The newsletter was sent to passengers who registered an account and subscribed to their official website. It contains details regarding CEB’s temporary adjustments and amendments on their booking policies to provide precautionary measures to passengers during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in the country.

Cebu Pacific Air temporarily updates booking policies amid COVID-19 concerns

If you have a registered account with Cebu Pacific Air and have subscribed to their mailing list, you might have received an email with the subject, “…a message from our Customer Experience team”. Here’s the content of the newsletter signed by Candice Iyog, Vice President – Marketing and Customer Experience for Cebu Pacific Air:

Our goal is always to make flying safe and convenient for you. We understand that you may be feeling uneasy about traveling because of COVID-19, so we continue to explore how you can travel with flexibility and peace of mind.

Please allow us to share with you precautionary measures we’re doing, so you can remain confident in flying with Cebu Pacific: (1) frequent extensive disinfection of aircraft, (2) provision of gloves and disinfectants for our cabin crew, and (3) usage of HEPA air filters in our aircraft to block 99.99% of contaminants and viruses, among others. To date, we continue to operate our flights as scheduled. We have revised some of our policies to give you flexibility, even during this evolving situation:

Book and Travel Soon

Guests who plan to book and travel until April 2020 now have the following options available:

Booking period: March 12 – April 30, 2020
Travel period: March 12 – April 30, 2020

1. FREE CEB Flexi, which waives the rebooking fee and allows for up to two (2) FREE rebookings. Simply select CEB Flexi add-on during booking. In the event you choose to rebook your flight, just manage your booking online up to 2 hours before your flight. A minimal fare difference may apply.

2. FULL TRAVEL FUND, should you choose to not push through with your flight. You may avail of Full Travel Fund through Manage Booking up to 2 hours before your flight here.

Book and Travel Later

Guests who plan to book until April 2020 now have the following options available:

Booking period: March 12 – April 30, 2020
Travel period: May 1, 2020 onwards

FREE CEB Flexi, which waives the rebooking fee and allows for up to two (2) FREE rebookings. Simply select CEB Flexi add-on during booking.

In the event you choose to rebook your flight, just manage your booking online up to 2 hours before your flight. A minimal fare difference may apply.
