Optimus Freight, A Filipino-owned start-up company, have recently launched a global search among Overseas Filipinos and their families as part of the OFX brand’s cause-related marketing campaign entitled “Caring Forward” in partnership with Impact CODE.
The Caring Forward campaign seeks to leverage on the fact that Filipinos are all over the world and have been considered “ambassadors of global culture” but still remain Filipino in heart and mind, and in some instances become even more fiercely Pinoy in spirit than before they left, according to a study. Indeed, Filipinos being known to be a warm and friendly people could become a catalyst for positive change in the world.
OFX and Social Enterprising in the Philippines
Mr. Leo Lacbo, OFX Founder and President, would like to serve Filipinos anywhere in the world in all their courier and logistics needs, whether for personal or for business, with compassion-driven services. Mr. Leo Lacbo wanted to make a difference in people’s lives through a social enterprise like OFX who seeks to provide a better service to OFWs for their balikbayan boxes, knowing that they have sacrificed so much for their loved ones.
OFX also seeks to address the logistics or shipping needs of Filipinos, from those who need to shop from other countries to those who wanted to start an import export business. OFX wants to be part of the growth of our SMEs, our micro-entrepreneurs and to bring our world-class Filipino made products to the world.
Hence, OFX felt the need to get social brand advocates and partners, which would help spread goodwill and enable us to Care Forward to more Filipinos here and abroad and eventually unite the world with kindness.
The OFX Model Search is now open for Cebu
OFX invites representatives from Cebu who would be interested in joining the model search. They are looking for Filipinos ages 16 to 45 who have likable and pleasing personalities that exude confidence and happy disposition. Winners will be part of #OFXCaringForward international campaign and be showcased in OFXpress various online-offline campaign materials and promotional videos.

The contest will be based on fans votes on social media then ranked by OFX Campaign Team, a series of eliminations and final judging by the OFX Campaign Team to select the Winners.
