Have you traveled around Asia and tried their local food and specialties and now you’re missing them? Are you curious how other food from different countries would taste like? Or are you just hungry right now and would try and explore the new and exciting taste of food? Woori Bistro is just around the corner to give you your next gastronomic experience.
Woori Bistro: An Asian Fusion Restaurant
Woori Bistro (Woori is a Korean word for “together”, “us”, or “we”) is a humble dining place that serves a variety of Asian fusion and local Filipino cuisine. Located at Tipolo, in Mandaue City, Cebu, the newly opened restaurant is indeed an ideal place for family, small groups or an eat-out date for couples in a chic and relaxing ambiance setting. We get to try their best-selling items on the menu and we would like to share them with you.
If you happen to have visited Singapore and tried Laksa, Woori Bistro has its own take of the famous coconut curry spicy soup. Served with noodles, meats, and vegetables, one serve in a bowl is good for sharing. Don’t forget the boiled egg split into two for that authentic taste of Laksa. There’s a distinct kick of spice to it but you will surely enjoy with friends on a served mini bowl during the rainy days or just because you wanted to also try Singaporean cuisine.
If you love Korean food, most especially Samgyeopsal, Woori Bistro serves it on a wooden plank with different dips (or sauces) that are authentically Korean (soybean paste and chili paste) and the popular and common side dish, kimchi. It is also served with lettuce leaves to wrap everything from the grilled pork belly, the dip of sauce and straight to your mouth in one go.
Aside from Singaporean and Korean food, they also serve other food inspired by different Asian cuisines like Chinese and of course, Filipino food. We would love you to also try their Pancit Guisado and Beef Pochero. Don’t miss other items like calamari and pork chop in blueberry sauce.
They also serve a huge array of drinks from fruit shakes, iced tea, hot tea, sodas, milkshakes, and different wines and spirits. Woori Bistro also has a bar for you to enjoy a glass of wine or a shot glass of tequila and more.
If you’re thinking of having snacks, what about sikwate, budbud pilit and yellow ripe mango? The famous merienda combo is available at Woori Bistro.
