Amazon opens its first Philippine Customer Service office in Cebu
Amazon.com, Inc. announced today the launch of its first customer service center in Cebu, Philippines, creating over 300 new jobs in the city and 1,000 more skilled roles by the end of the year.

The site is set to support customers around the world and will also provide 24/7 world-class customer service to customers in North America and the United Kingdom. The first customer service center in the Philippines includes a range of occupations, which include Customer Service Associate, Team Manager and Group Manager roles.

Amazon’s Cebu location joins the company’s extensive roster of topnotch customer service centers. In the United States, Amazon was ranked #1 by customers for the 8th year in a row, according to annual survey results released by The American Customer Satisfaction Index. Similarly, the Institute of Customer Service’s The U.K. Customer Satisfaction Index saw Amazon U.K. ranked #1 for the 5th time in a row by customers.
First Customer Service in the Philippines
The launch of the new site in the Philippines will further cement their on-going commitment to investing in the region. It follows the successful launch of Amazon Web Services (AWS), the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, in the country in 2016.
